Backhaus, Painting Catalina
November 8th-11th
This four day plein air workshop on beautiful Catalina Island
will focus on developing a stronger visual awareness and a powerful,
more comprehensive painting. This will be achieved through the
use of editing elements, discovering existing patterns in the
landscape, edges, values, and color harmony. Kenn will introduce
you to the Ten Questions an artist should ask themselves before
beginning a painting and demonstrate some of the factors that
come into play as we paint plein air. For information on lodging
and the gorgeous scenery, please visit www.catalinachamber.com
