The Boreggo Plein Air Invitational began with a weeklong paint-out, March 2–6, as 16 invited artists captured the breathtaking beauty of Borrego Springs and the surrounding Anza-Borrego Desert.
From luminous sunrises to long, dramatic shadows across the desert floor, each painting reflects a fleeting moment of this remarkable place.
The event concluded with a live judging and awards presentation on March 7, celebrating the artists’ finest works. Debra Huse was awarded 1st Palce for her work “Legacy View” 7x10. This painting may still be available.
